Groundwork South works in partnership with local and national businesses to deliver its education programmes. As well as helping to fund our work, companies can contribute through volunteering. This helps bring communities, young people and businesses together and provides fantastic opportunities for team-building.

Conservation and landscaping

We can offer a number of conservation and landscaping volunteering projects in our centres and reserves and within our Green Schools programme. Recent projects have included constructing polytunnel allotments and designing and building an interactive nature trail.

Carbon reduction

Reducing carbon emissions is a strategic objective for many businesses. We can provide volunteering opportunities through our centres and Green Schools programme to support carbon cutting and off-setting projects.

Fundraising and giving expertise

We’re always looking for businesses to help fundraise to support our projects – from outdoor classrooms to transport for schools. Sometimes, as a partnership develops, there are are opportunities for businesses to donate technical support and expertise.
