Training in taking learning outside

Iver 6th July 2015 Conference (9)

There are many reasons for taking lessons outside – learning can come alive through real-life, hands-on experiences, some pupils thrive in the outdoors whilst they find sitting at a desk is a real challenge. Pupils and staff get creative as they use the outdoors as a setting and an inspiration whilst getting in tough with the natural world.

Whatever stage your staff are at we can inspire them – whether they are about to take a lesson outdoors for the first time or they are experienced at teaching outdoors and just need a few new ideas. All our training involves lots of practical activities, most of which will take place outside – whatever the weather!  Much of what we do is easy to replicate straight away – although we may also challenge you to plan more complex lessons or a series of lessons.

Whether you want to take an overview of teaching outside or want to focus on a specific curriculum area or age group our experienced staff can tailor our training to meet your needs. Email us on to find out more.
